The Scientific Advisory Committee reviews and assesses the work of the UK CF Gene Therapy Consortium. It comprises international experts in gene therapy. Patient and parent representatives also sit in the meetings. The committee meets every year to advise the Cystic Fibrosis Trust on the progress being made in gene therapy and helps the Trustees in their decisions about funding of the gene therapy research project.
