At the Cystic Fibrosis Trust we are committed to protecting your privacy. All information we hold concerning you as an individual will be held and processed by the Cystic Fibrosis Trust strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.
Only data which has been voluntarily provided will be held and such data will only be used by the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to administer our relationship with you in connection with our charitable activities, aims and related purposes. We will not, without your consent, supply your name and address to any third party except where (1) such transfer is a necessary part of the activities that we undertake, or (2) we are required to do so by law.
If you have indicated that you are interested in receiving regular information about the Trust's services and activities, we will send you communications by post or electronically. In addition, we may send you direct mail that we feel may be of interest to you.
The nature of Trust's work often requires us to collect the information of persons under the age of 16 to facilitate either our support objectives or because they wish to take part in an event organised by the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Any person under the age of 16 who wishes to take part in such an event must obtain consent in the form of a signature from their parent/guardian on the registration document.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust does not send marketing materials to anyone under the age of 16. However, in the case of events, we may occasionally send specifically targeted information about events to those of the appropriate age. We do not sell or rent user information to anyone. We may, from time to time, use our publications, and their inserts, to bring to your attention products/services from our partners that we feel may be of interest to you including the range of products available from our trading company CF Merchandising Ltd.
If you use our website and are asked for personal information at any point, you are only sharing that information with the Cystic Fibrosis Trust alone, unless otherwise stated. For example, when you are using our secure online donation pages you are going through our partner company Justgiving Foundation and the information you give, such as your credit card number and contact information, is provided so that the transaction can take place.
The Trust's website, like many websites, uses cookies in order to provide a more personalized web service.
