Tomorrows

"Tomorrows are incredibly proud to be involved in the process of fundraising for the UK gene therapy programme. We are delighted that the EME programme has agreed to a grant. We hope that our £150,000 donation was in some way helpful in gaining much needed funds to see the gene therapy work through to the next stage. We are hopeful that this is a pivotal point in the treatment of Cystic Fibrosis."

Our family have very much appreciated the work the CF Trust has done in supporting us with information and in enabling us to meet other patients and families, who have been very helpful. We are delighted that the trials can now go ahead, this gives our family hope."
Caroline has attended a number of major events in aid of the Gene Therapy Appeal. As well as completing the London to Brighton bike ride and raising an incredible amount, Caroline and her family have also pledged a generous donation over the next five years.

This is very positive news for the CF community and we look forward to hearing how the trial is progressing."
Christy and Sasha York
"Our son, Charlie, was diagnosed with CF at one year old. He suffered enormously in his first year but thanks to the help and dedication of the CF consultants and the CF Trust, diagnosis gave Charlie some relief from his illness and we were finally able to help him. Like all parents of any child, we only want the best for Charlie and to give him the best life we can."

Jenny Agutter and Islanders rally behind 24 hour radio Marathon

CF Trust Trustee Jenny Agutter, who supports the Appeal, donated her time to do a radio recording for the event with a special show and on Friday 4 November with a sponsored 24-hour live broadcast challenge.
Iain Duncan, Bute FM's radio director said:
"After three days of Bute FM's fundraising broadcasts for Cystic Fibrosis Trust we are delighted to announce that over £1180 has been raised. This was all made possible byJune Gillies, mum to a 6-year-old girl with Cystic Fibrosis, who came up with the idea and help from all at the radio station. I wanted to thank also all the volunteers and visitors who popped in and lent their support and who collected sponsorship money at various locations on the island. "

Growing Hope rose delivered to researchers across the country

James said: "As a Biochemistry graduate, I know how complex but vital gene therapy work is, so when I saw how close the research was to finding a way to help people with CF to live longer, I felt I had to do something to make this happen. I hope people will dig deep and help me to fundraise to keep this trial going.
"It took six days through some extreme winds but it was worth it. I hope the good people of Southampton will help me raise more funds."
Carol Hunt, CF Trust Regional Fundraising Manager for the South East said: "This is an incredible challenge and all the more so because James has no connection with Cystic Fibrosis in his family. We were bowled over by his generous fundraising bid and will support him every step of the way."
James raised over £1,300.

Father and Son team sign up for Tower Run

Steve took part in this challenge because his son, 12-year-old Dylan, has Cystic Fibrosis. Before the event, Steve said: "We found out that Dylan had Cystic Fibrosis before he was born. Since then I've done lots of runs and challenges but nothing quite like this.
"We were also grateful for the support of Jamie Moore, who has consistently helped in fundraising events for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust."
Jamie Moore, former Light-Middleweight Champion said: "This is such a worthwhile cause. Having met Dylan and Steve, they are typical of so many families affected by CF, incredibly positive and strong. But the disease affects so much of the body, the lungs, the pancreas, digestion. That is why I wanted to raise money to help children like Dylan."
