Manchester United Foundation Charity Challenge Cup

Play for the CF Trust team at the world-class first team training facilities in Carrington.

Managed by a Manchester United legend, you will compete in a Champions' League seven-a-side style tournament for the ultimate prize - The Charity Challenge Cup.

About the tournament

As one of Manchester United's official charity partners, we have been given the opportunity to enter two teams in this fantastic event. One team is complete but we still have space in the second.

You will be part of a squad of 10 players who will be managed by a Manchester United Legend. Each game will last 20-minutes and each team will participate in at least 6 matches. Male and female players are equally welcome with a minimum age of 16 years.

You will be provided with CF Trust t-shirts to wear on the day and MUFC will provide matching shorts and socks so all you need to bring is your football boots (please note that NO metal studs or blades are permitted) and shin pads may come in handy!

A buffet lunch will be provided for all players and you will have a tour of the facilities at the training centre during your visit too.

Each person may bring no more than 2 spectators with them to cheer your team on. They will be able to buy refreshments on the day but they will not be able to tour the facilities as there will simply be too many people.

In return for taking part in this unique event, we ask you to pledge to raise, or donate, £250 to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust per player.

9.30am Arrive at Carrington and Welcome
10.20am Warm up
10.40am Manager's team talk and selection
11.00am Tournament
12.30pm Lunch
14.10pm Tournament
15.30pm Presentation
16.00pm Tour of 1st team training facilities

About Carrington

Usually a closed door facility, the state-of-the-art Trafford Training centre has been in existence since January 2000. Set on 85 acres of land in Carrington, Manchester United's first team training facilities boasts twelve grass pitches, a 25m x 8m pool, hydrotherapy pool, spa pool, sauna and weights room. All teams will be given an exclusive tour of the facilities on the day.
