The Big Cake Bake
The Big Cake Bake is the perfect way to meet with old friends, your neighbours, workmates, youth groups or maybe just a mixed group of people who deserve to stop for a slice of cake, a cup of tea and a chat.
All you need is a venue, generous slices of cakes and cookies, plenty of liquid refreshment and generous guests!

How to organise a Big Cake Bake guide?We expect over 250 people to hold Big Cake Bake events this year. Raising just £200 from your event will provide an amazing £50,000 from cake sales and coffee mornings. This amount of money could fund a whole year of our peer review programme. This is working on improving care for everyone across the UK.
What else could your money pay for?
- £30 could provide 100 families with our magazine CF Today with the latest information about Cystic Fibrosis
- £104 could cover the cost of an annual pre-prescription certificate
- £300 could provide a start up grant for a young person living with Cystic Fibrosis to leave the family home to live independently
- £750 could go towards funeral costs for a family relying on our support and help at a time when most needed
- £25,000 could pay for up to 100 patients with Cystic Fibrosis have a transplant assessment at Papworth Hospital
