Great Strides - Lagan Towpath Walk

Great Strides is a national walking campaign featuring 40 walks throughout the UK. Each walk costs £6 per adult and £2.50 per child to enter, for which you will receive a fundraising pack and free t-shirt. For a full list of walk locations please click here.

LAGAN TOWPATH WALK

Where? Please meet at the car park at Cutters Wharf, Belfast which will be clearly signed.
When? Saturday 17 May 2008, 10.30am
How long is the walk? 10km and will take up to an hour and three quarters to complete, you will finish at Lady Dixon Park near Lisburn. I will then transport all participants back to their cars!
What will I need to take?
You may like to bring along a drink and a snack to help you on your way or if the weather is good why not have a picnic at the finish? Goody Bags will be provided to all participants at the end of the walk.
Is there anything else I need to know?

• There are no marshals on the walk but signposts will be in place to guide you on your way.
• Buggy's are welcome though it may get a little bumpy.
• And finally for those of you that can't bear to leave your canine friends at home they are welcome too though must be kept on a lead and be children friendly.
