Great Strides

Great Strides and walking events were a huge success in 2007 raising nearly £300,000, so we decided to bring the campaign back for 2008. Walking is a great form of exercise as well as meeting new people and enjoying your surrounding environment, so the Cystic Fibrosis Trust have organised a fantastic calendar of walks throughout the UK.

2008 Calendar of Great Strides Walks

Online entry for these events is now open, all walks cost £6 per adult and £2.50 per child to enter, for which you will receive a fundraising pack and free Great Strides t-shirt. To apply online simply go to the Calendar of Great Strides Walks.

The walks are suitable for all ages and range from 5k to 30k and can be completed at your own pace, each walk has an element to make it different so if its fancy dress, challenging hill walks, gentle strolls in the park or even a Summer Santa Saunter then there will be an event for you.

By taking part in our walks you will be joining a worldwide campaign with 1000s of people across the world taking Great Strides to cure Cystic Fibrosis.
