Minor alterations to a will are easy to make. If you are simply adding a donation to the CF Trust, you can use a codicil. This is an addition to your will so that you can alter it without needing to make a completely new will.

Using a Codicil

• Do not cross out or write new instructions into your current will as any changes will not be valid.
• As happens for a normal will, two people (who are not beneficiaries of your estate) need to witness it. These can be the same people who witnessed your original will, or new people.
• A codicil should be kept in a safe place with the will it changes.
