How long is the walk?
Short Pooh Walk 0.6 mile/1 km (suitable for toddlers and under 5s)
Long Pooh Walk - 2 miles/3.25 km
What will I need to take?
Packed lunch if required; suitable clothing and footwear
Is there anything else I need to know?
Dogs are welcome if kept on a lead; teddy bears are invited along too! The short walk is suitable for buggies although we would encourage toddlers to join in the walk. The Pooh Sticks race is at 2pm, a short distance away. Please park in Pooh Car Park just off the B2026 road running through the heart of Ashdown Forest near Chuck Hatch and follow the downward slope to Pooh Bridge.
Walk Entry: Entry is £3 per adult and £2.50 per child. There are a number of ways to enter:-
1) Online - simply click on the button below (you will only be able to enter and pay for one person at a time).
2) Call & pay by credit card - please call the Events Team on 0300 373 1100 and we will process your entry over the phone.
3) Paper entry -
please print out this form and post it into the Trust.Every effort will be made to ensure that the walk is safe and enjoyable; however, anyone taking part in this walk does so at their own risk.
If you are able to advertise the walk by placing posters in your community eg. work and school notice boards, local shops, clubs and pubs etc, or passing on an entry form to family, friends and colleagues, I would be very grateful.
