Tower Run - Beetham Tower, Manchester
Location: Greater Manchester
Date: Sunday 28 October 2012

We are thrilled to once again bring you the Manchester Beetham Tower Run at the UK's tallest building outside London.
Visible from ten counties on a clear day, the challenge is to run or walk up 798 steps to Level 46.
Often referred to locally as the Beetham Hilton Tower, this iconic, award-winning building is the tallest residential building in Europe at 169 metres and includes 23 floors of the fabulous Hilton Hotel.
Entries will open soon so hit Need more info? and we'll let you know how you can be part of this awesome challenge.
The inaugural Tower Run was scaled by Alex Cooke in the amazing time of just 5-minutes and 19-seconds, but many people took their time walking the stairs - it's all about completing the challenge at whatever pace is comfortable to you!
Take a look at some photos from the 2011 Tower Run.
This year we are delighted to organise this as a joint event with the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.
We are truly grateful to Braemar Estates and Beetham Tower Residents Association for their support.
