Donard Dander

Location: Slieve Donard, The Mournes, Northern Ireland
Date: 12 September 2010

Taking steps to cure Cystic Fibrosis
The Donard Dander is just that - a dander to the top of Northern Ireland's highest mountain and back down again of course. People are encouraged to walk at their own pace and no climbing is involved. A team of guides will accompany our group to the top of Slieve Donard where they can marvel at the fantastic views across the Mournes, before heading back down the mountain.

This walk is 5 miles in total and will start at 10:30am - please allow 3 hours to complete - parking will be available at Donard Park Newcastle, where there are toilets.

If you can't bear to leave your canine friends at home they are welcome too though must be kept on a lead and be children friendly.

By taking part people will be helping us move closer to an effective treatment - a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. That's what the Dander is really about.

Apply Online: Entry is £6 per adult and £2.50 per child; you'll receive a free t-shirt too. Simply apply online using the button below.
