The Great Manchester Swim offers a dock to dock 1-mile swim in the beautifully renovated area of Salford Quays.

Formerly called the Great Salford Swim, this unique dock to dock course, offers you a 1-mile swim challenge where spectators can follow you around the course so don't forget to bring your cheering party with you too!

In spring 2012 we aim to head into a multi-dose clinical trial to replace the faulty gene that causes CF with a healthy copy. This trial will last for at least one year. We are leading the world with this ground-breaking research that has the potential to prevent the development of the lung damage that causes 90% of deaths from Cystic Fibrosis.

Joining Team CF in the Greats Swims will help us to ensure this vital research can go ahead.
