London Olympic Stadia Trekathon
This is a tough one-day event through the urban landscape of London's Olympic venues and stadia; covering 26 miles in one day it forms an enormous challenge for walkers. It also takes place at the beginning of the Paralympics so there will be plenty of activity and excitement on the route. There will be full support throughout the challenge with marshals and water stops along the route.

This challenge starts at Olympic Park in Stratford, East London, home to the Olympic Stadium and Olympic Village, and will lead you through the bustling streets of the northern suburbs heading west through Regents Park to the the iconic Lords Cricket Ground, which will be hosting the Archery events.

Aiming south you will enter Hyde Park hosting the Triathlon and Marathon Swimming events, passing the Serpentine where the Marathon Swimming will take place. Continuing into Green Park and alongside Constitution Hill until the most impressive building in our Capital is in view, Buckingham Palace. You will march up The Mall before reaching Horse Guards Parade Ground home to the Beach Volleyball competition.

Crossing the Thames over Westminster Bridge heading eastwards towards Greenwich Park. At HMS Belfast you will leave the river and head back into the London streets. Arriving at Greenwich Park which will be hosting the equestrian events and also the modern pentathlon during the Games.

Finally you will head north from the Park towards the North Greenwich Arena adapted to host the Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian competitions, plus the combined running and shooting event of the Modern Pentathlon; this will be your final resting post.
