Great Nottinghamshire Bike Ride 2011

Join a peleton of 4,000 riders at the 31st Great Nottinghamshire Bike Ride. This will take place Sunday 15 July 2012 at the Victoria Embankment, Nottingham.

The event will be part of the New Cycle Live weekend cycling festival which will provide fun, entertainment and a whole festival of cycling at the Victoria Embankment from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th July.

The Rides

There are four routes for you to choose from that take in some of the most stunning scenery that Nottinghamshire has to offer. There is something for everyone, no matter your age, ability or level of fitness.

  • Sportive - 100 miles - entrants must be capable of completing the event within 10 hours
  • Challenge - 48 miles - entrants must be capable of completing this route within 8 hours
  • Community - 19 miles - entrants must be capable of cycling this route within 4 hours
  • City Ride - 4 miles

There are a variety of rest stops and feed stations along every route where you will be able to enjoy the entertainment on offer while you refuel.

All entrants will get an event goody bag and a medal as part of their entry. There is also the option of purchasing an exclusive souvenir t-shirt at the point of entry.

Entry Fee

If you apply by 1 April 2012 you will pay early bird prices, as shown below. After this date prices will be slightly higher.

City Ride

  • Over 18 - £6

* Passengers under the age of 10 using a tag-a-long or child seat.

To enter please visit the Great Nottinghamshire Bike Ride website. If your entering as part of a group or team you will be able to select a route for each person that you are entering, they do not have to be on the same route and the rest of the group but under 17s must be accompanied by an adult.
