Edinburgh Marathon is officially the fastest marathon in the UK and with new runs added in 2011 to what's already a superb event, you have the Edinburgh Marathon Festival of Running.

There truly is something for just about everyone to take part in whether you are a super-fit and experienced athlete or brand new to running, man or woman, young or old why not take a look at what's on offer and take part in the excitement of a mass participation event!

Races start in the city centre with staggered starts so there will be no cross-over of runners on these fantastic separate events.

First of all, select which event you'd like to take part in...

• 26.2-mile marathon (18yrs+)
• Relay team marathon (four participants per team - 15yrs+)
• 13.1-mile half marathon (17yrs+)
• 10k (15yrs+)
• 5k (13yrs+)
• Junior Runs (5 to 14yrs)

1) Entries are now open so please book your place then please use it to run with Team CF and raise whatever you can!

NB individual marathon places are now full but you can apply to run with us using a Charity Place...

2) we also have Charity Places available for these events (except the Junior Runs) in return for your pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship for us. But, the more people who run using their own place, the bigger Team CF can be!
