Blackpool Zoo Walk

Time: Registration 10.00am for 10.30am start.
Where? The registration desk will be to the right of the mail entrance and clearly sign posted from the car park.
How long is the walk? The walk is one mile long but you can repeat the walk as many times as you like to increase the distance you complete.
What will I need to take? You are welcome to bring your own picnic. There will be complimentary cakes and soft drinks at our desk within the zoo.
Is there anything else I need to know?
- Children will be given a quiz sheet at the start of the walk with the answers to be found around the route. This will also be your route map for the walk.
- This walk is suitable for all ages and abilities but we ask that children are accompanied by an adult at all times.
- The walk is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs but please be aware that there are some moderate inclines and declines on the route.
- Once you have completed your walk you are free to enjoy the zoo at your leisure.
Every effort will be made to ensure that the walk is safe and enjoyable; however, anyone taking part in this walk does so at their own risk.
If you are able to advertise the walk by placing posters in your community e.g. work and school notice boards, local shops, clubs and pubs etc. or passing on Great Strides leaflets to family, friends and colleagues, I would be very grateful.
