Where? Registration and Walk start from car park within the grounds at the CFT Great Strides Banner
How long is the walk? 3.7 miles through parkland and gardens. Some areas may be muddy dependent on weather.
What will I need to take? Suitable footwear, appropriate clothing in case of rain, drink, snack. You are welcome to picnic in the grounds after the walk.
Is there anything else I need to know?
- Refreshments are available on site at the café and Stables Restaurant.
- On production of your Great Strides star (which will be sent to you before the walk) at the entrance kiosk you will be fast tracked through to the car park area.
- A £2 discount will be offered to all GS walkers for entry into the house with proof of a Great Strides leaflet.
- Following the walk you are welcome to take full advantage of the parkland and gardens at your leisure.
- Under 16 years you must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
- Dogs on leads allowed in parkland but not in gardens.
- If you are a member of the National Trust please make the registration desk aware on the day.
- Route chosen by CFT.
Every effort will be made to ensure that the walk is safe and enjoyable; however, anyone taking part in this walk does so at their own risk.
