Attingham Park Autumn Walk
Where? Attingham Park, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY4 4TP; parking at the mansion is free of charge. The registration desk for the walk will be just outside the entrance of reception. If you are a National Trust member we would be grateful if you could bring your pass with you so that the venue can record member attendance.

When?
Saturday 16 October 2010, 10.30am registration for 11.00am start.

How long is the walk?
2 miles made up of 2 laps of a predesigned walk.

What will I need to take?
Please wear suitable clothes for the weather conditions. You may want to bring a hat, gloves and umbrella in case it is raining.

Is there anything else I need to know?

  • The walk is suitable for all ages and abilities including buggies and wheelchairs.
  • Dogs are very welcome but owners must adhere to the parks dog policy and keep dogs on leads where stated. Your dog is your responsibility at all times during the event and should not be left unattended at any time.
  • Walkers will be given a voucher for a drink of tea or standard coffee when they register which can be redeemed in the Carriage House Restaurant with our compliments.
  • Due to the risk of cross infection, if you or a member of your group has CF please arrange for someone else from the party to redeem the refreshment voucher.
  • If anyone wishes to visit the Mansion after the walk please bring a change of footwear if possible.
  • Various other events including guided tours and deer feeding maybe taking place on the day of the event. If you want to extend your stay please have a look at the notice board situated in the park entrance for further details.

Every effort will be made to ensure that the walk is safe and enjoyable; however, anyone taking part in this walk does so at their own risk.
