Nebuliser when camping?

Hi!

Anyone got any advice or experince of hooking up to your neb whilst tenting? Me and my chap are planning atrip around cornwall for 2 weeks in june and i have suddenly just realised the lack of electricity implications.

Is it poss to use a car battery? What kind of extra equipment might I need? Does it run the risk of making the car battery flat?

I would guess that many sites might have plugs in communal areas - but i dont really relish the implied public observation.

Any hints? Recommended camp sites?

Cheers!!!

Okay, I'm rubbish at electricity terminology... but there is this adapter thing that you can plug into the 12V thing in the car. It changes the electricity to the kind of electricity you get at home. I use this all the time and my car battery has never goen flat, but if you worry about that happening, just have the engine running and it shouldn't be a problem.

The thing I was talking about can be bought at most shops that sells anything electricity.

Hope you have fun camping!

Remember, when camping, always turn your light out before you start shagging.

..usually I'd agree. But we will be visiting specialist camp-sites, Rog.

I had to nebulise gentamycin in France last year for MRSA, wasn't the easiest as I had to use needles etc to draw it up, normally with colomycin I can just squeeze the saline/WfI from the plastic tubes. But yes I borrowed a portable nebuliser from the ward that can be charged up while driving along from the cigarette lighter. Got some strange looks washing the bits up in the toilets too

Sounds like it is possible, though a little public and perhaps a bit complex. Like so many things in life that are worthwhile....

..thanks for the hints everyone! I shall investigate!
