ahhhhhhhhhhh words cannot express how angry allied have just made me. ive been in hospital so didnt recieve their letter in time about portables for xmas - apparently they have to be ordered by last friday because of the high demand (well duh) this xmas (which is inexcusable in itself). so ring them up and got a complete dimwit on the phone:
me- hallo can i order some more portables
dimwit- well ill try
me - what?
dw (patronisingly) - well we did send a letter you know
me - well ive been in hospital
dw - ok then bye
me - er - well will i get them or not?
dw - i dont know depends on the engineer
me - well cant you find out
dw - no not really
me - so i just have to wait for him to ring me/turn up if he has any
dw (with no shame whatsoever) - yep.
me - im also supposed to be getting liquid 02 - can i speak to the woman who deals with that please
dw - shes not in
me - well when will she be in?
dw - well they come in all sorts of different times
me - so you dont know when your boss is in?
dw - no.
dw (as afterthought) i could leave a message.

OMG how blinkin' incompetent and downright rude!

Not suprised you are furious Robyn, seems like Allied Respiratory have clearly not increased their helpfullness one bit, festive season or no festive season!
