Aamelia is nearly one:nxt week..she is snoring away in her sleep and hs a lot of stuff hanging around in her throat.. would anyone risk a pillow: small one to prop her head up?This is due to cold not shifting

Hi Amelia's mum

I would definitely prop her up with a pillow. When my lpwcf was sniffly I would either tilt her cot (with some hefty books - of which I have loads) or a pillow under her mattress.

Hope that helps.

I roll up some old towels or something and put it under the head of Ocean's mattress (or I did until he went into a bed), either that or the books under the end. As Moonstone said

Another trick is to put the child to sleep sitting up in a baby car-seat. It works especially well for babies with earache, as it helps the tube connecting the ear to the throat drain properly!

Hi Moonstone,
I bought my daughter a cot wedge when she was one that I put under her sheet because I was worried about giving a baby a pillow. Now she's 4 I use it under her regular pillow when she's bad.
I bought it online from jomamanbebe. Not sure if they still sell them but mine was a godsend.
Take care
Sally
