We are planning on launching our new website early next week. This will mean closing these forums, creating an archive of them and opening new improved forums.

Please see the notice on the forum homepage for more info.

Thanks,
CF Trust web team

People should be able to use exactly the same IDs, but will have to recreate them. There was a request on the forum a while back that over-long login names should be prohibited to reduce the page-distorting effects long login names have. I don't know if this is happening. If so, then a few people may have to come up with shorter login names!

If we get luxuries such as signatures that can be appended to posts or similar then long login names should be unnecessary.

Richard.

Tom,

Would it be possible to give a bit of a list of new changes and common features we would expect to see in the up and coming 'new forums' please?

Thanks

Seeing as the forums are being launched this week you'll find out about the new features soon enough. It's all about the magic of surprise

Web address will be the same.

A little birdie tells me that a certain person know's more than they are letting on and I hate surprises! I hope it's not too different/difficult - I can't stand change - being a creature of habit and all that!
