I've had a RUBBISH day, just so bad. Everything has just gone completely wrong today!

Awwwww!

So, hence the topic, I need to be cheered up!

ive just got back from my sisters school play- they did jack and the beanstalk... though bizarrely this included a 5 minute mini-musical of the wizard of oz, complete with melting witch and small children dressed as flying monkeys... im not sure why! that made me laugh today, thought it might amuse you too!

Comedy DVDs, Bill Bailey makes me howl with laughter every time.

Christmas is coming - the only season where I am allowed to adorn everything in glitter and sequins without people looking at me strangely

The view out of my window at the moment, it's gorgeous

The fact I am going home tomorrow, woohoo!

Hope you feel better tomorrow Becky, I like to think statistically if today was a bad day it is more likely tomorrow will be a good one (mathematicians out there don't correct me please )

Angel's right. I've consulted my parot cards (they're like Tarot cards only with Parrots on them and less reliable, but also less involved with dark spirits and general evil-ness) and tomorrow will, indeed, be a better day for you.

For cheering-up purposes, comedy DVDs are great, as are funny films, and also funny people in the street - like really fat people who wobble when they walk. They don't mind you pointing and laughing, it's OK, so I'd recommend going down to a 24-hour Tesco now and finding a fat, wobbly person to point and laugh at. It's OK, they're paid by the Government for comedy services.

It's not Maths: it's Parot.

Hi Becky, just finished watching the new Chubby Brown dvd,if you havent him of him he's very blue,v sexist and swears a lot and comes from the North East near me. He might not be to everyone's taste but i always have a good belly laugh at his jokes.
Hope you are feeling happier.

LOL! That made me laugh! And your Parot cards are completely right Oli! Today already feels like such a better day and its only 7.30 in the morning!

And Angel, I cannot wait until christmas day! I've wrapped all Steves pressies and put them under the tree and this year he only knows what 3 of them are! Last year he guessed all of them well before christmas!

I'm going out again for Christmas dinner, same as last year and it's great! All the fun and a LUSH Xmas lunch, then no clearing up after you! I'd definatly recommend it (although for £45 a person just for lunch it should be nice!!)

Oh, Oh, and I now have a new DVD of dirty Dancing as I'd watched my video a million times and it was nearly unwatchable- although I don't have a VCR player in my house so a DVD is an obvious choice!

Glad to hear today's brighter for you.

Also remarkably surprised at the accuracy of my Parot... Have to think about an industry there...
