Hiya Guys,

I just wondered hav any of you been on the American Cf boards, i'am thinkin in of joining them too jst to talk to poeple overseas do u you think its a good idea.

Hi there James

Well, I am new to this forum, but have been reading it for a while, and I am in Australia!!

This forum is much better than the AU one, very informative and supportive...Our one here hasnt caught on as well yet!
Anyhow, I think it is a great idea to be in touch with others, even if they are on the other side of the world, we all have so much in common.
It is really interesting to read about the different approaches to treatment, and different things which are being tried in other countries.

Hi James I had a look at that site but it appears to be up for sale, not sure if I entered the correct website is it www.cf.com ? as I didnt see anything about an American cf site

as an American, I can tell you that the cf.com boards are notoriously bad. People there are crazy, completely on edge, and can't take a joke. You can join them, but I wouldn't expect much.

I am a member there too. It's true that sometimes some topics get a little out of hand.. But i just stay clear of them. I think it's a good recourse, with lots of people visiting the boards there.

Oh i have to admit that I use that site more than this one, and while its true that most on it are quite mad and that it is prone to blowing up on occasions, the latest was about bringing your kids up to either believe in santa or to tell them that he dosent exist. For that reason alone it is well worth the look in. They can in fact take a joke I often take the pee out of them, other than that, it is quite informative, I have learnt an awful lot about CF and myself on that board. Do drop in from time to time...oh and you can open a blog there.

I have joined the cf.com forums, i get alot of info here but, want to see how much things are different in other places, and get some more info that might be usful to.
