the shop's shut!

There I am casually logging on to the CF shop site to buy my christmas cards - and it's already shut for the year! Does it usually close this early? Theres two weeks to go 'til christmas!
Does anyone know of any other source of christmas cards sold in aid of cf? I shall try to make some of my own - but won't have time to do many.

I'm very surprised at that. I ordered some yesterday and it was working okay. Maybe they've got a backlog to catch up on, but I would say they could have given it another week before they closed it down. They've missed out on your order now and more from me cos I ordered 1 packet to see what they were like and was going to order another.

I buy my CF cards from Cards For Good Causes outlets (usually Town Halls etc). If you go onto their website http://www.goodcauses.co.uk/where-buy.asp you can choose your nearest town and it will give you details of where the outlets are, opening times etc. Most are still open until a few days before Xmas. They don't have the full range, but do have a good selection - and there's no postage to pay!!!

You can still buy cards for cf from the Irish Cf site. The money won't go to the Trust, but rather the Irish Cf Association. The cards are nice as I just bought mine yesterday. Just a thought!

You could get in touch with Chrissie on this site - my order arrived from her today. As well as some lovely, general Christmas cards, she has made me a 'special' one (can't say any more in case he is reading this!) which I ordered a little while ago - I am so chuffed with it!
