The "WOW" factor! Ideas please!!

I'm going out on the 22nd Dec, Friday, with a few people from work, and then later I'm meeting Steve (my boyfriend) in town a little later as he's out with his work also (friday before christmas and all...)

Thing is, I'd love to meet him and look really nice for him as he'll be with all his mates etc and I know this sounds really stupid but I want to walk into the pub, and for him to see me and think, "Wow, that's my Fiance!"

Anyideas on actually achieving this?? Most of you know what I look like anyway so use that as a guide- HAHA you have your work cut out!

Hmmm as a trainee Trinny I'd go for a nice little dress from Topshop, something along the lines of a gold sixties style number(everybody needs a bit of shimmer for xmas) teamed up with a pair of black opaque tights and some fabulous patent leather high round toed shoes (matching clutchbag). The short dress and dark tights give the illusion of showing alot but in actual fact it's the same as a pair of skinny jeans! Trendy but not trashy. Hair up (makes your neck look longer) tousled not tight and big smokey eyes.
How's that?!!!

Best of luck either way and thank you for an interesting few minutes indulging in one of my favourite pastimes, ahhhhh clothes............ x

I've got a gold sequin dress, Sienna Miller style! very sparkly and Christmasy. Got black footless tights and ballet pumps to go with it. Not sure if I will be brave enough to go with it though.

But definitely go for something sparkly!

Ha ha Merlin, my husband agrees entirely, but they are UNDERNEATH and I think Becky wants to knock his AND his mates socks off. She most definately will if they can all see the s & s !!
