I don't always buy our local paper but got it this week as Crystal Palace FC came to visit our local chilren's ward. There is a really good article by a CF family. I am guessing they are on here as they also got the calender plug and website in! Well done on a really positive article and what gorgeous pics. It should be online at www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk.

I can't find any reference to a CF family on the website. Anyone else find it or is it just me? I'd be interested in seeing it and knowing who's on it!

I suppose it's public enough to say - their names are Robert and Lesley Walker with Rory (5 yrs old wcf) and Charlie, Toby and Kate. It is a really good, whole page article with 3 pictures and a box showing the amount of food that someone with cf needs. Loads about living with CF and a message to the Browns. Rory is on the calender and there is a whole end paragraph advertising it with purchase instructions to go to Livvy's web page. Will send it to you if you like Livvy.

Thank you for that information Sarah. I know Rory's dad was keen to help promote the calendar - so thank you to them. Not everyone feels comfortable with publicity/advertising and I know I wasn't in the early days of diagnosis of CF. The boys are rarely in the local paper when I'm doing anything - just their names appear - but when they are older they can voice their opinions with regards to CF and what they want and don't. Daniel doesn't like anyone knowing he's got CF at the Comprehensive and other than the staff at playgroup, none of the parent's know that Joe has CF.
I hope that William is as well as can be expected - e-mail me when you can Sarah as I don't have your address now after a crash months ago - lost no end of contacts. I want to send William something for christmas.
Please send link to the story if you can - I'll keep it with all the others Gemma will send me after christmas.

Be nice to see you again maybe next year - we've been talking about dragging Emily around Hyde Park again next year WHEN she getsher new lungs.
