Found out today that despite 1 week of oral Levofloxicin and 3 weeks of IV ceftazidime and coliston Ryan still has heavy growth of Pseudomonas. All that hard work with IVs and extra Nebs and physio hasn't shifted it at all.We are gutted!!!
Ryan is going to have oral Levofloxicin again and see how he goes.He is also on Neb Tobi and Dnase. In himself he is ok a bit tired but no other signs. His consultant wasn't available today for me to speak to but really hoping he hasn't got to go back on IVs especially over Christmas.

Please all keep your fingers crossed for Ryan xxxx

Sending hugs to you all. Keeping my fingers crossed that the drugs help Ryan kick this nasty bug. Stay strong!
