What did you get for Christmas when you were young?

Heya guys, thought this would be interesting, post here what you got from Santa when you were young!

I got: - Hungry Hippos (my favouritest game when I was young
- Lego Pirates Island
- Thunderbirds Tracy Island (Only I got it in August when they were back in stock in Argos, thats when I gave up on old Sandy Claws)

O dear I can't remember anymore :S

Hi,
I always had a soft snoopy toy as I was mad into snoopy when young, and lots of sweets.
I also remember getting a pair of roller skates and you know what it was like you had to go out and try them, so I went out on roller skates when the streets/roads were icy. Daft or what Ha! Ha!

I am young still!

I have recieved in the past:

-He-Man's Castel Grayskull(sp?)
-Lego (Pirates island, pirates ship, town buildings)
-Transformers
-Mask (vehicles and characters)

Oooh i must've been a really good boy!

I once got a Glow worm.. anyone remember them? It was the pink one!
also i had a tiny tears and a Teddy Rupskin!! I loved my teddy rupskin he was the damned coolest! LOL.
I also got hungry hippo's and Mouse trap, Barbie stuff, A car garage... hmm cant think what else...

I got a huggy bear when i was about eight and a glow worm lip balm. I also got a care bear( wish bear)

Some of the things i can remember were,

Spaceship tent,
Also Castle Grayskull nd He-man figures,

Hmmm about 1982 ish - my first PC - a Sinclair ZX Spectrum with the WOW factor of a 48K memory! Woo! How things have changed.

First memory of christmas is my Tiny Tear's doll and pram and my brother got a scallectrix (or however you spell it!) and second best memory is my black and white portable TV. It was during the Miners Strike and my dad was a diesel fitter down the mines and they scraped together the money so I could have the telly when I was about 14. I remember my brother getting up before me to go see what was under the tree and him coming back up all excited telling me there was a large present under the tree for me - my telly! Joy oh joy! Hubby eventually swapped that for his nice colour one while he was at University in Coventry. Nice memories I'll NEVER forget.

I had a doll in a carrycot once. Not being a very dolly girl, I used the carry cot to rig up a pully with my skipping rope and my sisters too. We hauled them up and down stairs.

Hi Again,
I also remember getting a record player in it's own red box complete with a record---"there's no one quite like grandma" by St.Winifred School Choir. How embarrassing. My daughter has no idea what a record player is or was.
My husband says he can remember getting a tape recorder and was so excited that he could record on it at the push of 2 buttons.

I remember the family (well, Mum I suppose

) getting our first microwave. My brother and I were unsure exactly how it worked so we stood pushing buttons and eventually turned it on - with nothing in it. Luckily we worked out how to turn it off again quickly - without doing any damage!

No idea if it was at xmas though - seem to think it might have been Easter. Totally irrelevant to the thread really

I remember my whole family getting a soda stream for xmas one year. Me and my brother were SO excited and friends used to come round just to have a soda stream!! Oh dear!

Also remember (in no particular order):
Atari STE. the finest computer!
Transformers/cars
Thomas the tank things
and for some reason I remember being really pleased when i got a cork notice board!!!??

Also remember no presents til physio was done! ha!
