Does anyone have any experience with this? Just had a phone call from our nurse and it has been decided that they are going to stop Mayleighs colomycin and gent nebs and her oral Voriconazole and just give Voriconazole nebulised. Cant find any info on this anywhere so wondered if anyone else has it.
Bit concerned that her other nebs are being stopped - she hasnt grown pseudo since Feb but is that because she's been on gent and colomycin?
Aspergillus has been a real problem for her lately and I know the dr knows best but she's only just been started on Voriconazole orally (previously it was Itraconazole) so there hasnt been time to see if it is working.
Is there any reason why gent/colomycin can't be given along with Voriconazole?
Thanks in advance
Andrea
