I just turned thirty!

I'm ridiculously proud and excited by this. I never thought I'd see my 30s, and now I've hit them I'm determined to enjoy it. All my friends the same age are getting really depressed about being so old, and I refuse to fall into that trap. This is as young as I'm ever going to be, and as old as I've ever been, and that makes for a pretty exciting combination. Plus, you know... I'm not dead. That's gotta count for something.

Now, if anyone needs me, I shall be over here, buried in a pile of pensions and sensible jackets...

Happy 30's Matt! I loved turning 30 for the very same reasons and can't wait to be 37 next year. I'm hoping to have a big 40th and if I ever get to 50 I'll be streaking my wrinkly birthday suit round Ikea on a Sunday
