One of each?! That's almost impossible but I will try...

Serious one: Thankful to my team (especially the physios) for not only helping me pull through in the summer when no one thought I would, but for getting me to the Hyde park 5K dressed head to toe in pink

Festive: Fairy lights! I love them and would have them up all year round if I was allowed, sparkly pretty and smile-inducing

It might seem harsh but someone in the goverment having a child with CF because now we might get some notice, free presciptions, and more funding towards a cure and research.

Mine would be getting married (aka being a princess for a day) and moving to London and the festive one...shopping on oxford street last Saturday when they closed it off to cars so you could walk along the whole street while listening to a marching band playing christmas songs!

Mine would have to be:

Serious - The new lungs I received last year, has totally changed my life. I will be forever grateful to the family who helped me.

Festive - All our family being together at Christmas, I love it. My nephew is in Iraq, so will be the first Christmas with one of the crew missing. We will have a drink for him though!

Things to be thankful for: My brilliant PEG button, after the pain and misery of the G-tube. (and my great CF team at Heartlands)

Christmassy: Being able to get away from the materialism of Christmas in much of Britain.

My twins, my health, (despite my twins), family, friends and fab CF team all helping to make our new little family a very viable and happy one, and the fact I had been shown where the main switch was in our electricity cupboard so that when everything went dark and my appliances started to fizz last night, we weren't all fried.

I am not thankful to scottish power who have managed to have 3 major power cuts in our region over the last year.

And eflow. Its cool.

Only having one dose of I.V's in 7 months and blowing the best FEV1 ever the other day at 1.29 litresOh also my lovely friends and family

For a festive one I'd probably say-Decorating the tree and sitting having a big family dinner on Christmas Day.
