Can someone please tell me if the side effects of this include joint pain? I can't find the leaflet that came with it.

Yes - it states

" your child may experience numbness or a feeling of pins and needles. headache, joint pain or muscle painor loss of muscle tissue has been reported. your child may notice a funny taste in their mouth"

Thanks for that.

My daughter is complaining of this and I was hoping it wasn't caused by the antibiotic, but it looks like it must be.

Anyone have any advice on what I should do know, should I contact the hospital? Would they tell me to stop using it? Is it something that will go once treatment is stopped?

Sorry for all the questions but she has never had a side effect from anything before, not even from cipro! Please help.

I would ring them as they will know best and you can stop worrying x x
