I would recommend doing a google search for the CPP (college of Proffesional practitioners)herbalists - they are far more science based than NIMH who can be a bit tree huggy,
they have very stringent entry requirements (even some doctors failed to get in!!) and are involved in all aspects of government regulation/EEC regulation etc.
Their website has a bit where you can search for a member near you, or you can ring and speak to Pam Bull who is the co-ordinator who might recommend someone specific. They have a good networking thing going on, so pass intfo around. If you take the dissertation to the consultation it would help them to see what angle we suggested taking, and they would be able to ring me as I will be joining in the new year, and starting practice, but unfortunately I am not near you! - tho someone suggested that once my ambulance has finished being converted into a camper, I should become a travelling CF herbalist!!!
