Houghy, that's sad to hear; but like you and others say, taking a break may well benefit you - I hope so. It's weird but whenever I choose a thread to read, 95% of the time it's a worthwhile, positive one..... If it's gobby, bigoted or personal in attacking someone, I tend to switch off mentally straight away (my reaction generally to people like that who haven't got the ability or decency to communicate like mature people) - perhaps that explains why I haven't come across many of these negative posts; NOT TO SAY, OF COURSE, THAT THEY DON'T EXIST. I'm sorry that you HAVE come up against some of these. Sadly, some people have yet to grow up I guess 
What's great 95% of the time about this forum is that you can discuss mainly CF matters which are important to us, though as Angel said, I think, we do need a rest from thinking/breathing/talking CF (I for one forget this too at times - it'll probably do me good too). Look after yourself and you're sure to get a genuinewelcome back when the time's right for you. (Hope i've made it onto your list now as well  - only kidding! Dom
