hi i have always got mine from the post office, they cover cf, all you have to do is give them a call to inform them of existing conditions!

Have taken this from http://www.pwcf.net tips and info section These companies change their policies all the time but hopefully some of these are still ok:

AIS - 0870 240 0143

Endersleigh Insurance - 0800 028 3571

Heath Lambert (within the EU only) - 01603 828 376

JD Consultants - 01689 859 102

The Post Office sometimes offers a good deal, but there are conditions.

Hi Alana,

Try 'Insure & Go'(08702 202240).
Try 'Preferential' (01702 423393).Has a good reputation for covering customers with pre-existing conditions, as well as those going on long-stay holidays.
Try 'Heath Lambert' through the CF Trust Single trip cover within the EU but check with the Trust or give them a ring, they may have expanded their policies.
Try 'Scope Select'(0121 236 3044) .
Get the CF Trust factsheets on Insurance & CF
You should shop around , get a few quotes...some Insurance Companies will refuse cover entirely, some Companies will take the risk with progressive conditions.
If all else fails, get in touch with the CF Trust Welfare Officer or your local Unit's Social Worker, if you have one.
Hope that helps,

Best Wishes.

Have a great holiday!

I'm trying to get annual cover and have answered no to all the questions apart from having to say that I have been an inpatient in the last 12 months. None of them will cover CF.
I used to be covered by M&S, then the RAC neither will now cover CF.
I'm not on Oxygen
Not waiitng for results etc etc
hvae had one inpatient stay in the last 12 months, what criteria exactly are youi supposed to forefill?
I don't understand how others have been insured by the post office??
Heath lambert are probably the worst their policy is totally useless!
Any other ideas?

Hi ,I used to get mine every year with the RAC but I gather thats changed now .Surely if you have never had to claim on your insurance for your health they should take that into consideration also if we have ivs before holidays to keep us well that must be a plus .I suppose next year when planning a holiday I will be like you and have to satrt all over again looking for a company.
