Hi just thought I would post a to our local paper from Friday.

Was meant to be in this Tuesday's edition so we missed it

Never mind, at least it was there and hopefully will continue to get the CF message out there.

Hope you and yours are all well.

Kind regards

Fi

Saw you on Channel 4 news last night Fi - lovely house! Olly was an absolute star. Dan was very interested in his trumpet playing - what fantastic physio. I'm not sure I could stand the noise though - we have a very nice sound proof outhouse though! I hope Olly is well and looking forward to christmas.

Why thank you Mrs Barnes! we quite like it

Olly loves the trumpet, we let him practice in the evenings instead of pep, not everyday...my ears can't hack it everyday!

Seriously, he loves it and after a few months of playing has found that he can play soft as well as LOUD!!

Our CF team are more than happy for him to do it instead of pep, so maybe try to talk to Dan's school and see if they have a band or if he can borrow one fro them to see how he gets on.

Glad you saw the news, have just watched it again - funny seeing yourself on the TV hehehe

Kind regards

Fi

It's a really good article. Can you view the Channel 4 news online as I missed it! I totally agree about getting the CF message out there. Interesting to hear about the trumpet playing too!

Our local music centre in Oldham runs groups which play wind instrument particularly for asthmatics. they call it Bronchial Boogie and it has achieved some great results for the kids and their families.

Sadly I can't see it on C4 website, but we did video it and I am going to see if we can work out how to upload it somewhere, if anyone would like to see my lovely house

Kind regards
