Abcess

I just wondered if anyone else gets problems with abscesses? they are in a certain place and causing a lot of pain. I went to see the nurse and she wasn't helpful and done nothing for it. I have since looked it up on google and it suggests antibiotics. Until I can see a doctor, does anyone have any suggestions of relief, for the pain?

I think it may be because I have been more run down lately. It said on a website that "People with weakened immune systems get certain abscesses more often".

Thank you

I have had a few abscesses in 'a certain place'. My doctor gave me anti-biotic cream as I was already on various oral anti-biotics. In the meantime until you can get some treatment from your doctor you can put neat tea tree oil on it, its very good for things like that, i used it on one when i could'nt be bothered to go to the doctors about it. If you do buy any though, make sure it's 100% pure tea tree oil
