Sorry it took so long to reply, I didn't notcie your post. Lol, I've never actually had requests before, woohoo!

Mcvities Genoa slices have about 300-350 clories in per slice (nealry had a heart attack when i found out:P) I also put on most of my weight with walkers crisps.

With regards to skandishakes, here's a couple of recipes:
The best idea for these are to bung them in the blender. And make sure you rinse it out straight away afterwards.
I also recommend adding a couple of teaspoons of smooth or extra smooth peanut butter to the mix (aslong as your not allergic) It compliments most of the shakes well, adds extra cals and makes it slightly richer. You can't actually taste the peanut itself though, unless you add massive spoonfulls.

The Jaffa cake one:
1 choco skandishake
3x orange jaffa cakes
2x scoops vanilla ice cream
Full-fat milk to get to a smooth consistancy

The choclatey chocolate onevery good as a high cal aid for pwcf with PMT:P)
1 Choco skandishake
2x scoops chocolate Ice cream
1x chocolate madiera cake
and milk
I like adding chocolate squirty cream on top.

Strawberry Chocolate delight: (keep the spare halfs sealed and use within a couple of days)
1/2 sachet chocolate skandishake
1/2 sachet strawberry skandishake
add milk.

Strawberry: (note, this one probably wont actually taste that good with peanut butter in)
1xStrawberry shakes
2x Vanilla or strawberry ice cream
4x strawberry's
milk
squirty cream
strawberry sauce

Bananachoc:
1x choc skandishake
1x cut banana
2x scoops vanilla ice cream
milk

I did make a strawberry and ginger biscuit one aswell, which was strawberry shake with 2 crunched up ginger biscuits added. Since found thiswasn't such a good idea, while it tasted good,Inearly ended up choking on a bit of biscuit that hadn't crunched up.

I know I thought up loads more, it's just remembering them all:P

You can pretty much add anything in. Except for probably citrus, as i reckon that would make the milk split

Hope these help And hope Tom starts piling on the pounds soon

I try to add as many extra cals as i can to the recipes. I mostly like them though as they give you alot of variety.

Still trying to find the recipe for skandishake ice cream making. I have a good skandishake sunday in my mind, involving plentyfulls of sweeite bobbles.

Sal,ask Tom's dietitian about Pro-cal.It is a powder that can be mixed to any liquid type foods i.e.,soup,gravy,angel delight, tea, hot chocolate, anything thats liquid. The pro cal alone has 200+ calories in it.

I was given this 10 days ago by my dietitian and my weight is steadily going back up,after losing quite a bit of weight, due to my bad liver.

Maybe try asking about it and see what they say.

Thanks. I think he had something like that before when he was small. is it like a white powder called Maxijule? I used to cook with it. I'll see if he can have it again. Do you think the GP will prescribe it without a leter from the hospital or will I have to go through them?

P.S I'm not sure about your GP as i was given it through my cf unit,so i'm not to sure. You could try and if his GP says no then try his cf team.
