thanks for that.

a friend from the north of england phoned me to say it was in .

i know that cf has come a long way in the last years but i have been involved with some very sad times in the past and have been to many funerals.

i loved my daughter so much and still find it hard as apart from being my daughter she was my very best friend.

Hi Anita,

I was very moved by your story and can't for a minute imagine how incredibly hard it must be to lose a child.

Thinking about you

A very moving story. no one ever wants to die before their child and the pain you bare must be a great one. The older a person WCF gets you get labelled as " lucky" , I often have people telling me how lucky i am to be 35 and still be here despite having CF, diabetes and renal failure as if i should have gone years ago. You were very blessed to have a wonderful daughter it's just so sad she never got her second chance of fulfilling her dreams
regards

I bought The Times especially to read your write up Anita. It was very brave of you to talk about Tracie and her life.

Anita,

I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart for your loss. It's my worst fear and I can't even begin to imagine how painful it must be. May your beautiful little girl rest peacefully and may you find the strength to find some peace again.

Sending you light and love
Donna xxxx

Anita- I want to say you are brilliant for telling your side of things. I know how hard that must have been. My daughter who was 15 died in June this year and I don't think I could have spoke to the press. I feel that all press that CF has been given over the past few days has made CF out to be not too bad, which for parents who have lost a child is devastating. All children are different and as such I am glad that someone has put over the other side of things. I wish you and all your family all the best and hope you can get through Xmas.
