My brother applied for a place in the London Marathon 2007 as my daughter who is 15 passed away this year. He thought it would be a great fundraiser as its so fresh in peoples minds and they might be more generous. Sadly he didn't get a place in the National Ballot. Has anyone else got a place you know?

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter. I don't know much about the London Marathon, but I'm looking for team members with a good level of fitness to take part in a fundraising expedition in the Himalayas. If you think your brother might be interested please email me and i'll send you some details n.coombs@imperial.ac.uk

My nephew has CF and the expedition is to raise funds to support the CF Trust and raise awareness about the realities of growing up and living with CF in the UK today.

Kind regards

Natalie

Sorry to hear about your news.
I ran the FLM this year but have just received my rejection from the national ballot today. I have also applied for golden bond entry so will keep all thing crossed that I have any entry with CF.
My son age 6 has CF so it would mean so much to my family.
FLM 2006 we managed to raise just short of £4000 so that would be great this time around.

He has applied for a Golden Bond place as well. He did the New York Marathon with the CF Trust two years ago and said what a wonderful experience that was as well.
Good Luck with getting a place.

Has anybody heard if they have got a place yet. We thought we would have heard by now. Oh well the training must go on even in this terrible rain.

Still haven't heard anything.
I'm still training 4 times a week.

Anybody else heard anything yet?
