To counter the Radio 2 coverage, Radio Five Live's breakfast show and Matthew Bannister's phone in at 9am were both v positive about cf.

thank you so much everyone for all your kind comments about Jessica. I was really proud of her, especially as she's not feeling well at the moment and will be going into hospital this weekend for a 2 week stint of ivs etc. but really pleased CF is getting so much media coverage, well done everyone! jtimumx

Thank you jtimum and Jessica,

I would just like to say my Son Ben, wocf aged 8, watched Jessica today on Newsround with his Nan and youngest brother, Sam aged 6, he told me Jessica was very brave and tried to explain all the medication Jessica needed to take.

This interview has really helped Ben come to terms with his little sister Abi aged 19 months wcf.

Well done Jessica you are very brave and a very special girl. We are really sorry you are unwell and hope the 2 weeks IV'S will make you feel well again, just in time for Christmas.

Love Jo, Justin, Ben, Sam and AbiXX

thank you Jo and family for your very sweet comments, I'm so pleased the interview helped your eldest have some more understanding of CF. I'm really pleased she did the interview - her teacher told her class to watch it and I hope they did as she's just started a new secondary school where she didn't know anyone else who was also starting at the same school, and she had been finding it difficult explaining to lots of new people why she always has tablets on her etc. so I hope the interview has explained things to her school friends also! It feels like it's been such a whirlwind of information and exposure to CF, really incredible, x

Hi Tracie, I couldnt agree more with that comment ''seems like cf is getting an awful lot of coverage since the announcement of the Browns baby, just a pity it has taken their diagnosis to highlight cf''
I have 2 children 21 and 19 with CF, My son said after the announcement ''When I go into work tomorrow they will all be talking about it!'' ''Maybe then it would be a good time to tell them I too have CF and its not such a big deal'' He bottled out though.
