could somebody please tell me what article had the info that cf patients that do not get specialist cf care are likely to have 7 years less life expectancy(know I have read it on here in the past year.)

I'm not sure about life expectancy being 7 years less in non-specialist centres, but it's definitely the general consensus that pwcf treated at specialist centres have a better life expectancy - I've read/heard this many times.

I couldn't find the exact article, but if you type ["cystic fibrosis" "specialist care" "life expectancy" ] into google, a few long-winded publications come up that state the above.

Jim Littlewood has apparently said this at a conference.(who is he?Is he a doc,prof or something else??)

Jim Littlewood is a highly respected name in the world of CF. Think he's the 'top dog' at Leeds hospital in the pediatrics.

Was until he retired. He's now Chairman of the CF Trust.
