....regardless of politics, position or power - we've all been where you & Sarah are now. Love to you both and young Fraser while you get to grip with the diagnosis and get used to the CF rollercoaster.

I doubt if you'll be posting much on the boards - but hopefully you may look in from time to time!

Just to let any newly diagnosed parents know that these boards can provide amazing support, and will provide as much advice as possible. Everyone here has been in the position the Brown family are in and can help and relate in ways no health authority or other parents can.

Thinking of the Brown family at this very difficult time.

I hadn't seen the news until I read this post and then read online.....

How sad for them, to be right now where we all have been when our children were diagnosed, and to be feeling what we all remember all too well. My heart goes out to them it really does, as it does to all other parents who have received this kind of news.

Didn't Emily/Angel meet him at one point when she did a talk or something? If so how very surreal that he now has a child with the condition.

I hope his little chap keeps well for a long time and hope they don't find all the media that is bound to follow too distressing. I can't imagine having our story splashed across the headlines. How sad. xxx

Our thoughts are with the Brown's at this terribly difficult time. We've all been through this and, wish Fraser the very best of health.

(MAYBE WE COULD PRINT THIS THREAD AND, SEND IT TO GORDON BROWN WHEN COMPLETE?)

I also send thoughts from myself and my family during this early learning stage of CF in the Brown's family. May they find all the help and support they need during this difficult time from their family and friends and I'm sure they'll find much comfort in knowing how many people on this Forum know and understand what they are going through and they are not alone.

I want to add my hearfelt thoughts to the Browns.

I can still remember the day that Adam was diagnosed and how desperate we thought the situation was.

We've all been there in one way or another. Please believe me when I say that it does get easier as time goes on, emotionally at least.

Hi
our wishes go to Gordon and sarah. We still recall every second leading up to the diagnoses of our little girl and how awful and angry and upset we were. it is daunting at first but now we have learnt to take one day at a time.
Take care
