I get confused with my English as well!

I'm always being corrected by my boyfriend when I say 'Me and Ryan'

But I agree with AlanJC, it does get hard reading some of the posts. Especially on the talk board!

There's a great book called 'Eats, Shoots and Leaves' which is a fab read for those of you who get disgruntled by grammatical,punctuation-al and spelling mistakes (like myself )

It ALWAYS annoys me (may be too strong a word) when people say "YOUR" instead of "YOU'RE", eg, "Your looking great!" Bahhhh

Also "there" "they're" and "their" as well as "too" "to" and "two".

I'm sorry I can't help the way I feel, but its great to get it off my mind!

YAY!!

Someone said all the things that annoy me on posts, too! It's always fab to hear people backing up the call for proper English.

If it's going to save you money on a text, then fine, but these here words are free, lads and lasses, let's not lose sight of the fact that our keyboards were designed to include the vowels!

Down with txtspk, up with grammar!!

Don't what ever you do go and read the talk boards as it's full of text speak, in fact someone has used "ov" instead of "of".

The latest one that really gets me is 'beta' instead of 'better'. That's a different word! It means something different! It's a type of radiation, or a crap bit of software! The Greeks must be going mad...

Oooh, and another one:

When people substitute txtspk where normal speak would fit: my girlfriend got a txt yesterday using "woz" instead of "was" - that's just plain stupid.
