Seren and Dylan were on tv!

At nearly 6.30 pm tonight, the Saunders family hit ITV!!!!!
For those who didn't see it, it started off with a shot of me and the kids sat on the settee looking at the calendar, then a close up of the calendar, then a short interview with me, then another shot of the calendar, and then the kids sat together reading at the end.
I was generally pleased with how we came across, we all looked tidy, and the kids looked happy, and Dylan looked a TOTAL sweetheart, bless him, but I was amazed to hear what I sounded like! I had no idea my accent was so English!
Two things I wasn't so happy with, 1) They didn't say how people can buy the calendar, which makes the whole interview USELESS!
2) When I played it back again (Adrian recorded it), I noticed that while I'm speaking about the calendar, Seren is busy repeating my words, and then singing "You are a poo poo" in a really whiny voice!
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
But I'm hoping that as I didn't even notice it first time round, and neither did my friends who watched it, that no-one else noticed either!
AND, we just had a phone call from the Eastern Daily Press, saying that they'd seen Seren and Dylan in the East Anglian Daily Times, but that they thought the article was far too small for the subject, and that they'd like to do a much bigger article on the children and life with CF, and so they want to come round on Sunday afternoon to take photos and do an interview!
I can't believe it!
So the kids are probably going to be in the Journal tomorrow, they were in the EADT last week, on the tv today, and in the Eastern Daily Press in the near future!
Superstars or what!?!?!?!?!
I am actually getting quite used to it! I was offering suggestions for photos to the reporter I spoke to this evening, and saying what I didn't like about the tv clip, etc., so hopefully the EDP one will be really good!

Well done to the Saunders family for their one family campaign to get the calendar seen on TV and in as many newspapers in the vacinity as possible! You superstars you!! Pity they didn't put a "where you can buy" link, but I'm sure if anyone was desparate to purchase, they'd get in touch with the TV station? I'm just so pleased it's actually got a plugging on the telly - how good is that?! 
I've got a Dining Room full of calendars to shift now - they need to be gone before Christmas so I can drag my big table out to squeeze the grand-parents around it!!
