Susan, it sounds as if you have a pot of creon with a scoop for Charlie? Ocean has a higher strength, but in capsules that we just open and tip onto some apple sauce to give him. If Charlie and Ocean were taking the same amount of creon strength-wise then you would be doubling the amount of granules for Charlie to get the same strength that Ocean has out of the capsules I believe! Hope that made sense?? I know what I mean anyway

We get the Solvay Creon 10000 in pots too, always have done. We use the pharmacy in Sainsbury's. I REALLY hate popping pills out (we have to for Fluclox for both of the girls) I would have a hissy fit if I had to pop out creon too

Ah, well the strength depends on the contents of his nappy!!! Which is dependant on the individuals pancreatic sufficiency. I've no idea why some clinics give micro and others don't, I think ours don't as it's just as easy to open a capsule and it's less to actually give.

To return to our original subject: when our chemist changed hands, I got blister packs. I asked nicely and - as a large "customer" - they changed subsequent orders back to pots. If you have a sensible chemist it should be fine (I have a good relationship with my chemists because they often know more about my drugs than my GP).
