Ipod/Creative Zen music (Techno help!)

Completely off topic, but anyway, I have an ipod which I bought two years ago now. Unfortunately, like many others, my battery is slowly beginning to crash. They don't sell my type of ipod anymore, and to be honest, I don't really want another if it will have to be replaced in two years time.
So I'm looking at purchasing a Creative Zen. My question:
If I have music in itunes (and purchased from itunes) can I somehow convert these musical files, so they will play on my Creative? Cheersareeny! x
