We are great. Jack is getting huge - 8 months now and not sleeping!!
Jasmine is fine, she had that little blip back in April, but has recovered and better - we had our Kings appointment last week and her lung function was 123% and her Xray showed an improvement in her lungs - some of the previous consolidation has gone, I think they were a bit surprised. She is still riding at Petley Wood , tho she fell off twice (both times off Mouse) and it shook her up a bit. Mum bought her a back protector today, but they had to do made to measure cos of her CF barrel chest! At £60 mumsays she better not give up riding now! she did get aspergillus, but wasnt allergic, and we seem to have got rid of it now
Are you ok? how was your holiday? I havent heard from you for ages. Did you have exams this year? are you still riding?
I finished my course, and am going to be working from a clinic in Battle from early next year, exciting times!
hope all ok with you all, lots love

not much has changed up at Petley wood, which is a bit of a shame as Jasmine seems to be regressing rather than moving on - I guess the problem is that alot of the little ponies are good on the lead rein, but not as first ridden, so she keeps getting scares and that sets her back a bit.
I think we have all had the colds, Jack was put on antibiotics to stop him passing anything to Jazz, but she has got the virus now anyway, so we are jumping into clinic today to see the consultant - tho all the sputum samples have not shown anything dodgy.
Good luck in your GCSEs, where are you looking at for college, what do you want to do. I went to Bexhill for A levels and Hastings for Art, but I expect they have all changed alot since those days!!!
do you have any plans for Christmas? How was Disney?

Hi, we were at Hastings, because jazz was coughing and coughing all night, but thought it was just a virus, as we have all had colds, and the sputum samples have all come back clear, but seems Kings managed to nab some staph, so onto the fluclox for her. not bad, last time she developed that I think was about this time last year, and she has been off all antibiotics since early sept. The only slightly worrying thing was her bloods were a bit high on the sugar front, and tho they tested them today they were lower, but still at the higher end of normal. However both times were just after lunch, and she'd been pigging on chocolate and suchlike, so hopefully that was the problem. and she lost weight again, but she is a pain to get food inside. do you eat, what tricks should I use???!!
I guess its just as easy to get to either college - I did Biology, Maths, physics and Art at A level, sociology sounds more fun - I hated physics, tho I quite like it now!! I did Fashion design for 3 years at Hastings, I think they are rubbish for A levels...
France sounds exciting!!
we went to EuroDisney which Jasmine loved, the character breakfast was a great treat. It was cold, freezing, but there were not too many people and we had a pass so helped if there were any queues.
This weekend is my sister's daughters 1st birthday party on saturday, and Jazz has a party at Ocean Bowling on Sunday.
speak soon
love

Well, i had a very bad apetite when i was younger, up until i was about 7. The doctors threatened me with a Peg which scared me and then my grandad said he'd give me a £5!! for every pound i put on. till i was the weight i needed to be. I soon started to put weight on because 1) i was so scared of having a feeding tube or ne'thing and 2) Money sounded good! lol Now, i dont stop eating because i got used to eating lots! Ali doesn't eat well either, she eats lots but of only a few things, she is very fussy!
How did you find maths A level?I think that is going to be really hard!
Aaaaaw Eurodisney sounds like it was reli good!
Have fun at ur sister's daughters 1st birthday! I bet she's really cute! Hope Jazz has fun at Ocean bowling, i love it there! I'm going to a big sleepover at my friends house 2nyt which shud b good!
lots of love Marisa x x x

the birthday party was good. Wonder if I can persuade the grannies to do the money bribery thing? that sounds like a great idea, as when we have things to aim for - like going to disney, star charts work well to 'win' going, but general charts for the sake of it dont seem to have an effect - tho havnt tried for a bit!!
Maths A level wasnt too bad, tho it may have changed now! we werent even allowed calculators in those days for the exams, so I am really showing my age haha
jazz enjoyed the birthday, and even managed to eat a whole sausage, about half a dozen chips and a bite of cake!!
have fun at the sleep over xxx

Yes a bitta bribery usually does the trick and i think wen theres a prize at the end u do always wanna do betta!
Yeh, maths A level sounds a bit scary cos i'm only predicted a B so i'll probs b the least clever there but o well! n if i get a c i wont get in I had a maths test 2day which was so hard! I also need a b in science to do human biology - im predicted c! which is a bit of a problem - chemistry is reli lettin me down!! and English i need a c, which i am predicted so its all very relying on my predictions, eek!
I think Jazzys diet will improve, sounds like her party was good! as i say i eat hardly ne'ting wen i was younger and my parents thort i was goin 2 b a vegetarian cos i didn like chewing meat lol! but im not i eat so much now! but i dont really pig out on bad foods, like i dont eat cake or biscuits, except jaffa cakes and i dont eat THAT much chocolate lol! i feel myself up at tea time with huge proportions hehe!
The sleep?????OVER was good lol! Was great fun, jus had a ryt larf playin games!

my friend said the same about appetite, she wasnt interested in food until about 8 or 9.
Jazz is the same about chewing - sometimes I wonder if there is something wrong with her throat - she can chew a mouthful for 15 mins, no joke. tho it goes down pretty quick if its something she likes hahaha!!
I hope you ok in your exams - they often make the mock exams real tough to scare you into working hard, but they never admit it......
hows your horse riding going? my mum has a lovely pony which is up at livery in Mayfield, which I really want her to give to Jazz, and to get Robs mum to let us keep in her farm, especially as I found out today that one of the cottages on the farm has a floodlit menage which no one uses!! the pony is not really suitable as a first pony, but would be ok on the lead rein or lunge, and I could ride it when I lose a bit more weight (HA HA AGAIN!!) but maybe we could get an inbetween one... I just love that little pony so much, my dad is trying to make her sell it and she is so sweet
We have just been to a friends party and the kids did a talent show for us to judge - it was so funny! we had to judge against Jazz singing scales, 2 kids doing 'is this the way to Amerillo', some Christmas carols and 2 boys doing the opening 2 lines from 'Rehab' by amy Winehouse...we had tears!!!
Do you get to go to the panto with the home care team, jazz is going next Friday?

am beginning to get a bit excited about xmas too!!
my revision ploy was to cram it all the night before - really not recommended, but seemed to do me through both my degrees, and I got 2.1 in both of those... before that I did no revision at all - was ok at O level, but A level.... !! 2 D's and 2 E's was not too impressive
Jazz is getting a bit Christmas mental, and Jack isnt sure what the hell is going on!
gotta go - selling stuff on ebay and need to send out invoices!
have fun
