Expert Patient Advisers

The CF Trust recognises that patient involvement is crucial to its work and so employs four Expert Patient Advisers (EPAs).

The emphasis of this project is for the EPAs to become experts in the care that people with CF should expect - and using their knowledge to influence anyone who is involved with the commissioning or provision of care and services for people with Cystic Fibrosis.

The EPAs work alongside patients and their families, as well as with the CF Centres, Clinics and the multidisciplinary teams, so that the representation of the CF community can be given at all levels.

These are your four Expert Patient Advisers:

Lynsey Morton Northern England	Cara Doran Scotland, NI, Wales	Sophie Lewis South West	Emma Lake London and the South East

Although each covers a specific area of the UK, they work together and cover all areas of the country as necessary.
